PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – A routine check by two Indiana State Troopers on a disabled motorist ended with an arrest for a stolen vehicle.

The two troopers noticed Glynn Taylor, 62 of Frankfort, stopped on the side of Interstate 70 around 8 p.m. Tuesday.

While talking with Taylor his story had many inconsistencies and he appeared very nervous. A routine check on the vehicle showed the red 1994 Ford truck was reported stolen from Frankfort.

Taylor was arrested and charged for auto theft, receiving stolen property, unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and operating vehicle while never licensed.

He was taken to the Putnam County Jail.
