Soon you will need an appointment for St. Ann Clinic

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – One clinic will be getting a business makeover in a few weeks.

St. Ann Clinic is doing some restructuring. What was originally a free people’s clinic will now be a federally qualified health center starting June 16.

Instead of an open facility, patients will soon have to schedule appointments. The clinic staff is already embracing the new changes to come.

“We are ready. I tell ya, I’m just so proud of the work from the team, the staff… We’re making progress every day,” explained Charlie Welker, St. Ann Clinic. “There’s a whole lot going on to prepare for that day from work flow and processes within the clinic, but the team is working hard and we will be ready.”

Welker also said the new changes will make an efficient experience for everyone. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
