TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A former high school baseball standout from Terre Haute could make local history Thursday night.
It’s the first night of the Major League Baseball 2014 Draft and Terre Haute South alum and Kentucky player A.J. Reed might go higher in the draft than any Terre Haute player has before him.
Reed has raked in post-season honors including SEC Player of the Year and one National Player of the Year award.
But the draft is something completely different.
Sports 10’s Rick Semmler will be with A.J. watching the draft unfold tonight.
Check back with WTHITV.com for more on this story later tonight.
