VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) – The Red Skelton festival was in full swing on Saturday!
It’s the ninth year for the event down in Vincennes. There was plenty of food, fun and entertainment going on in the city.
Officials think it’s important to keep the memory alive of this much-loved man.
“It’s just important to honor the legacy of Red Skelton,” described Anne Pratt, Red Skeleton Performing Arts Center. “He’s Indiana’s favorite son, Vincennes’ favorite son. And this is just really carrying on his tradition.”
This is the first time the Red Skelton Museum has been open since the festival has started.
