Murder charges filed in Shoals death investigation


SHOALS, Ind. (WTHI) – In a News 10 follow-up: prosecutors have filed paper work in support of a murder charge in connection to the death investigation in Shoals.

The incident happened Sunday night when police responded to call to find Johnathan Tow, 32, with stab wounds.

He later died from his injuries.

Police arrested his father, John B. Tow, in connection to the incident. He was initially charged with criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.

This case is now being ruled a homicide after an autopsy was conducted. Now, the Martin County Prosecutor has filed paper work in support of a murder charge.

News 10 was told an official murder charge could come within 72-hours.
