A.J. Reed earns another National Player of Year Award

Baseball American Wednesday named former Terre Haute South and Kentucky star A.J. Reed the College Player of the Year. This is the second national player of the year award Reed has earned this year. This past season A.J. became the first player in SEC history to lead the conference in homers and pitching wins. Last week the Houston Astros took Reed with the 42nd overall pick in the 2014 Major League Baseball draft.
