Fundraiser at Bogey’s for two THPD officers

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – If you’re looking for a night out with the family and a chance to support a great cause then head out to Bogey’s Family Fun Center Wednesday night.

Bogey’s is hosting a fundraiser for two Terre Haute Police Officers who are both battling health issues.

Officer Vincent Billberry is battling Stage Four non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and Officer Brian Worley was recently diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gherig’s Disease.

Darren Brucken, who’s helping to organize the event, said this is the community’s way to give back to both of the officers.

“They are Terre Haute Police Officers so they are local hero’s, there’s absolutely no reason not to support the local police department, they are out there putting their lives on the line for us every day and now they need some help so we certainly want to answer that bell,” explained Darren Brucken, M.D. – fundraiser host.

The cost is $25 per person and this includes unlimited rides like the go carts, bungeee trampoline, batting cages, mini golf and the play land. The event will start at 5 and last until 9 p.m.
