DANVILLE, Ind. (WTHI) – A modern-day restaurant with an old-school touch, courtesy of a popular syndicated television show which airs weeknights on MyFox10.

When Brad Borne and wife Christine bought the Danville -based restaurant Mainstreet Cafe from Mike and Patty Malloy, they decided to go back in time—at least in appearance.

And their inspiration came courtesy of Brad’s favorite television show, “The Andy Griffith Show”, based in Mayberry, North Carolina.

So in 1992, the Bornes renamed their restaurant “Mayberry Café”.
