Terre Haute man facing rape and criminal confinement charges

WABASH VALLEY, Ind. (WTHI) – A Wabash Valley man is behind bars after being accused of several charges including rape and criminal confinement.

Daniel Shuck, 27 of Terre Haute, was arrested on Tuesday after an incident happened on June 22 at his home.

A female told police she and Shuck got into an argument when he then forced her into the bedroom and raped her. She then told police he held her there against her will for 14 hours.

Officials report the victim’s foot was also ran over by his truck.

Shuck is being held in the Vigo County Jail on $75,000 bond.
