One airlifted after crash on US 40

SEELYVILLE, Ind. (WTHI) – A Friday afternoon crash in Seelyville leaves two people injured.

Officials say a car being driven by 19-year-old Michael Riddle of Avon, Ind. was driving eastbound on US 40.

Riddle, making a left hand turn went into the path of a car being driven by 87-year-old Laurette Bellamy of Bloomington, Ind.

Riddle was not injured in the crash.

Bellamy was taken to Union Hospital in Terre Haute with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

A passenger in Bellamy’s car, 81-year-old Marian Krajewska of Bloomington was airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis with what is believed to be serious internal injuries.
