ATV rider dies in crash

CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – One person is dead after an ATV crash in Clay County.

It happened just after 10:00 Thursday night.

Clay County sheriff’s deputies were called to County Road 200 West, just south of County Road 100 North.

Marsha Fulk told deputies that she and her husband were both riding separate ATVs.

That’s when for an unknown reason, her husband George’s ATV flipped.

Marsha says the ATV landed on top of George.

Fulk was taken by helicopter to an Indianapolis hospital where he later died.

An investigation continues, but police say alcohol is believed to be a factor. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
