VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – The Vigo County Fair has kicked off their 85th year!
Events and festivities are well underway at the Fairgrounds in Terre Haute.
The gates opened bright and early on Sunday morning with people arriving around 8 a.m.
From food, to games, live music, and shows they really do have something to offer for everyone, 4H even has a petting zoo for the little ones.
The fair takes well over a year to plan, and its one way the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds Association hopes to provide affordable fun for the whole family.
“Monday night we got Demolition Derby, Tuesday we have the Voice of the Valley Singing Competition, Wednesday the action track will be in full session, Thursday we have a new event called the All Motors Drags, Friday the Lucas Oil Truck and Tractor Pull, and Saturday is the Demolition Derby, just a lot of fun events, said Jennifer Cook, President of the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds Association.
The fair will continue through Saturday. Admission is free before 4 p.m. and after four it is $5 a car load.
