TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Terre Haute police are investigating an early morning crash.

At around 4:30 Tuesday morning, police and emergency crews were called to 19th and Washington Streets in Terre Haute.

They found a Mitsubishi Lancer flipped over on its side.

The car ended up hitting the front porch of a daycare, doing minor damage to the building.

Witnesses say the male driver and a male passenger fled the scene.
