PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – A tractor-trailer fire on I-70 left eastbound lanes closed for about one hour.

It happened just after 7:00 near the 32 mile marker.

The driver of the truck noticed smoke within the cab of the truck.

That is when the driver steered the truck to the emergency shoulder, but was unable to put out the fire.

Officials say the truck was loaded with frozen chicken.

No injuries were reported in the fire.
