Silver Alert issued for Lawrence man cancelled

LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH/WTHI) — UPDATE 10:20 AM: Statewide Silver Alert cancelled for Anthony L. Johnson.

A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a Lawrence man last seen late Monday night.

The City of Lawrence Police Department is investigating the disappearance of 62-year-old Anthony L. Johnson, of Lawrence. He was last seen around 11 p.m. Monday and is believed to be in danger and in need of medical attention.

Johnson is described as a black male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with the name “St Vincent Hospital” written on it, khaki pants, and a blue baseball cap with the word “Veteran” written across the front.

Johnson is believed to be driving a 2014, white, 4 door Dodge Caliber vehicle with Indiana plate D650EV.
