ISP: Two arrests made in connection to meth lab

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Indiana State Police Meth Suppression troopers and Vigo County Drug Task Force officers arrested two Thursday morning on drug related charges.

Just after 10 a.m., officials arrived at 2200 4th Avenue apartment 3 in Terre Haute after community tips of possible methamphetamine production occurred.

An active ‘one pot’ meth lab, evidence of previous labs and numerous other items associated with the production and use of meth were all found.

Shawn M. Ash, age 26 of Terre Haute, was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of precursors, maintaining a common nuisance, false informing and also was also wanted on Terre Haute City Court for a previous false informing charge.

Carla R. Bealmear, age 35 of Terre Haute, was also arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of precursors, maintaining a common nuisance and false informing.
