Josh Phegley named Triple-A All-Star


Former Terre Haute North star Josh Phegley has been named a Triple-A All-Star. This marks the third year in a row Phegley has made the Triple-A All-Star game.

This season the Charlotte Knights catcher  is hitting .253 with  13 home runs, and 38 RBIs over 70 games. Phegley’s 13 homers are tops among International League catchers. The Wabash Valley great has also thrown out a league-best 46% of attempted base stealers.

Phegley will join Derek Eitel to give the Wabash Valley two players in this years Triple-A All-Star game, which takes place July 16th in Durham, North Carolina. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
