Crews battle blaze in south Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Terre Haute fire fighters spent part of their Friday night battling a blaze in south Terre Haute.

It happened near 2900 South Fruitridge.

Fire crews were called to the scene just before 10:00.

Officials say a natural gas build up caused a water storage tank to ignite.

Crews had the fire out in less than 10 minutes.

Surrounding streets were closed off to help battle the flames.

No injuries were reported.
