Enzert Lewis suppression hearing

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A judge will decide whether two key pieces of evidence will be presented to a jury during a Vigo County murder trial.

Attorneys for Enzert Lewis asked for what’s called a suppression hearing.

Here’s what’s in question: cadaver dog searches and luminal tests.

Luminal is used to help crime scene technicians find blood. Whether or not that evidence is thrown out is up to Judge David Bolk.

Lewis is still set for trial August 4.

He’s accused of killing his estranged wife, Allyson Elmi-Lewis, last fall.
