TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Prosecutors will file animal cruelty charges against a man accused of having dead cats in bags.

A Terre Haute man faces animal cruelty charges after dead cats in bags were found hanging in his garage.

News 10 brought you this story in late June.

A neighbor said she could smell the stench from outside the garage. The home belongs to Ted Hulman, who appeared in court Friday.

Hulman is charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty.

He’ll be back in court on September 23.
