Meadows bomb threat called from Jiffy Mini-Mart pay phone


TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Just before 3:40 p.m. on Monday, the Vigo County Central Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a male stating there was a ‘bomb threat’ at the Meadows Shopping Center.

The shopping center was evacuated and the building searched and once they concluded there was no explosive device, all were allowed back inside the building.

Officials have confirmed the call was placed at the pay phone located at the Jiffy Mini-Mart at 1301 Poplar Street. Subjects at the location were interviewed on scene and follow-up interviews were also conducted.
