911 call of Meadows bomb threat released to News 10


TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – The FBI has requested a copy of the 911 call that led to a bomb threat at the Meadows Shopping Center in Terre Haute on Monday.

News 10’s has also received a copy from Vigo County Central Dispatch:

“911 what’s the address of the emergency?”

“Yea there was a bomb threat at the Meadows Center. Bomb threat at Meadows Center. Bomb threat…”

Terre Haute Police report the call originated from a pay phone at the Jiffy Mini-Mart at 13th and Poplar.

Meadows Shopping Center was evacuated right after the call and while police and fire fighters searched the premises and found no explosives the threat is still under investigation.
