Annual Stuff the Bus by the United Way

CLINTON, Ind. (WTHI) – Volunteers doing what they can to stuff the bus. It’s an annual event put on by the United Way of the Wabash Valley.

Here’s how it works: Busses are arriving at several Wabash Valley Wal-Mart locations where people can drop off school supplies that the united way will give to kids in need.

Volunteers say it’s so wonderful to be able to help out the children who need it the most.

“The poverty rate all over is staggering, the unemployment rate you know is high, we don’t want the kids to suffer for it, they don’t wanna, they don’t have a pencil to take a test, we don’t want them to fail the test,” explained Fawn Johnston, event volunteer.
