SPENCER, Ind. (WTHI) – A road construction project in Spencer is coming to an end. Crews are set to put the last layer of asphalt down next week on State Road 46.
Officials say it’s a three to five day operation.
The construction is a $2.8 million project that’s being completed to help with sight problems in the area.
During the final days of this project, traffic delays are expected.
Once the asphalt is in place, lane restrictions will be removed.
Any further work that needs to be done in the area will be controlled by flaggers.
All work on the project is subject to change depending on weather.
