Exec. Director steps down after serving Knox Co. since 2002

KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – The Executive Director of Knox County’s Development Corporation is stepping down.

Gary Gentry made his retirement official on Thursday after serving Knox County since 2002. He helped bring operations like Farbest’s new turkey processing plant to town.

The Corporation named Vincennes native Kevin Utt as Gentry’s replacement. Gentry told News 10 he plans to spend some time with his grandchildren.

Gentry was honored Wendesday at a banquet on Vincennes University’s campus.
