New flow of traffic for first day at Vincennes Lincoln a success

VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) – A new traffic pattern taking place at Vincennes Lincoln High School Thursday morning resulted in no crashes or accidents for the morning commute to school. Vincennes City Police confirm no crashes or accidents were reported.

The traffic pattern directs parents to drop off and pick up students on Clint Barmes Baseball Drive. School Administrators told News 10 Wednesday, the traffic change is an effort to cut down on congestion in front of the Main Entry to the building. Under the traffic changes, students and faculty were expected to use Richard Bauer Drive to enter parking facilities.

Vincennes Community Schools welcomed back students for the 2014 School Year Thursday morning. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
