Summer bash aimed at helping students underway

VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) – A summer bash aimed at helping students in Vincennes is underway this Friday.

The Christian Educational Foundation puts on the Germanfest in an effort to raise money to support the Vincennes Catholic Schools.

The event has all the makings of a good time: food, drinks and dancing.

“Just come on out have a good time, it’s great to get together with friends under the stars, have a few drinks, visit catch up with everybody,” described Don Halter, chairman of Germanfest.

Germanfest goes until 1 a.m. Saturday and then festivities start up again at 6 Saturday evening.
