TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – It is Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day, the day each year that Dairy Queen donates a portion of Blizzard sales to the Children’s Miracle Network.
It’s a great chance to purchase a Dairy Queen Treat and to help children.
We stopped by the DQ on Wabash Avenue Thursday.
The owner told us they expect to sell around 1,500 Blizzards, which will triple their normal amount.
“While I was out here, one of the young people we got to help came up and gave me a big hug and told me you guys saved my life. And that right there tells the story, that’s why we do it.” Richard Sneeden, the Owner of Dairy Queen on Wabash told us.
