TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Local firefighters once again will hit the streets asking you to fill their boots!
Members of the Honey Creek Fire Department along with the Muscular Dystrophy Association have teamed up for their annual Fill the Boot campaign.
From Aug. 29 to the 31, firefighters will collect donations in front of Wal-Mart south along US 41 in Terre Haute.
Funds raised will benefit children and adults affected by muscle disease.
Benefits will include things like sending children affected by a muscle disease to a week long, barrier-free MDA summer camp.
