Lemonade Day at Indiana State University

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – It was the first day of class for students at Indiana State University and to kick off the school year, they got to enjoy a little lemonade.

Indiana State University’s First Lady, Cheri Bradley, had a lemonade stand on Wednesday. It’s an annual tradition for the university.

Students got a chance to become acquainted with the First Lady on their first day and Bradley states she looks forward to this event every year.

“It gives me an opportunity to meet new freshman students it gives me an opportunity to meet returning students and it says to everyone here on this campus,” she explained. “I’m here, Dan’s here – this is our campus, our neighborhood, we’re a friendly place it’s a good place to be.”
