TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Terre Haute Police responded to reports of an armed robbery early Tuesday morning at 69 S 18th Street.
Officials report around 3:44 Tuesday morning the victim heard a loud noise and left his bedroom to investigate. He was then confronted by a male and two females.
The victim stated the three suspects attacked him by hitting him and scratching him. He even stated one suspect hit him in the head with a handgun.
When officers arrived at the scene they observed scratches and abrasions on his back, chest and arms and there was also an open laceration on his head.
The victim stated the suspects demanded his money and his phone before taking his truck and house keys. The victim was able to hide across the street after getting out of the house.
The female suspect was identified as the mother of the victim’s infant son who was sleeping in the residence. The three suspects took both the infant son and his son’s five year old half-sister.
Officers found what appeared to be a part of a hand grip to a handgun at the residence.
The victim informed officers he believed the suspects would be going to the area of 15th or 16th and Spruce.
When officers arrived at the area of 15th and Spruce they located the victim’s truck, the three suspects and the children.
Jennifer Haltom, 26, Brandon Reedy, 22, and Diana Reedy, 50, were interviewed and all three later arrested for robbery. Diana Reedy was also arrested for obstruction related to actions she took regarding a handgun that was recovered in her residence.
The victim was treated at the scene.
