INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The U.S. Postal Service is hiring around 600 people across Indiana.
USPS is looking to fill hundreds of Rural Carrier Associate positions. The salary for an RCA is $16.25 an hour plus an equipment maintenance allowance. The employee may be required to use his or her personal vehicle, but compensation will be provided.

The RCA also sells stamps, stamped paper and money orders and accepts C.O.Ds. In addition, the employee prepares mail for forwarding and maintains records of Change of Address information.
This is a non-career position, part-time in nature, which may lead to a career position. After one year of service, RCAs may be eligible for health insurance under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, dental and vision insurance through the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program and long-term care insurance through the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program.
Applicants must have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving record and at least two years of documented driving experience.
