TERRE HAUTE, Ind (WTHI) – It’s a story that’s, quite frankly, tough to hear.It all happened at a gas station on Terre Haute’s north side.

A woman, who doesn’t want to be identified, said she saw someone throw something in a dumpster.

Well, when she went to throw something away, she noticed a puppy chiuahuah inside, his name, Gizmo.

Vets later found he was only 6 to 8 weeks old. He was having seizures and was very dehydrated.

The woman took him to heritage animal hospital. Now thankfully, they expect gizmo to make a full recovery.

He has been adopted, but he comes with several medical bills. To find out how you can help, Click Here. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
