ISP Trooper arrests one for synthetic drugs

CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – Indiana State Police made a synthetic drug arrest during a routine traffic stop on Interstate 70 Friday afternoon.

Just before 2 p.m. a Trooper pulled over a red 1991 Dodge pickup for a lane change violation that was eastbound on I-70 near the 37 mile marker. During the traffic stop the Trooper possible criminal activity. After a vehicle search 10 packets of synthetic drugs were found under the passenger seat.

Officials arrested Michael Gotcher, 53 of Texas, for possession of synthetic drugs. He was taken to the Putnam County jail with no bond.
