‘Climbing the Ladder of Equality’

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – It’s the 94th anniversary of women being given the right to vote and the third annual Women’s Equality Day will take place in Terre Haute on Tuesday to celebrate the milestone.

A march will take place in support of the 19th amendment.

If you want to take part, organizers ask you arrive by 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot behind the Ballyhoo Tavern. Commemorative buttons and t-shirts will be given out while supplies last.

Information booths and speakers will be on hand before the march begins.

And the event is open to men and women!
