Man accused of child molestation back in jail after violating home detention


TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A Vigo County man accused of child molesting is back in jail after violating his home-detention.

Robert Knierim was arrested in January for child molesting.

Knierim is accused of molesting an 11-year-old between April and August of 2014. Knierim denies the allegations.

A judge later placed him on pre-trial home detention and was to be evaluated by drug and alcohol tests. Knierim failed a Breathalyzer test violating his home detention – placing him back in jail.
