Man accused of trying to hit Terre Haute Police officer with car back in court

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A man arrested for accelerating his vehicle towards a police officer is back in court.

Javhonn Frazier is behind held on four counts.

Those counts include attempted robbery by means of a deadly weapon and resisting law enforcement.

On September 11th, officers responded to a large, private party at the Terre Haute National Guard Armory.

As police were dealing with Frazier, they reported hearing between 30 and 300 gunshots.

Frazier is due back in court on September 19th.
