TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Are you ready to “get twisted”? The fry guys at Twisted Fry sure are!
News 10 caught up with the food truck at Brazil’s Route 40 Fest on Saturday.
After several months of getting a Terre Haute ordinance changed to allow the business, the truck is now good to serve up chaos. Don’t worry… Chaos is one of their dishes!
Desean Prentice of Twisted Fry says getting the business off the ground was all about keeping Indiana State students safe by offering a place for food after a night of drinking.
“We just saw a need,” Prentice said, “I mean, we wanted to create a business, but we wanted to create a business that changed Terre Haute in a positive way, not just a business to make money.”
Twisted Fry is expected to serve again from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday. They will be at the Thompson Thrift parking lot on Wabash Avenue.
