Search continues for Fillmore man at Big Walnut Creek

FILLMORE, Ind. (WTHI) – Indiana Conservation Officers continue their search for a missing kayaker in Putnam County.

Officers are searching for 27-year-old Robert Simms of Fillmore, Indiana on Big Walnut Creek.

Officers say Simms was last seen Saturday night around 9:30 p.m.

They say he was in a green kayak wearing blue jeans, a grey shirt, and a Budweiser hat.

Officers have located Simms’ kayak downstream of where he was last seen.

Conservation Officers are still searching the area for Simms.
