TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A local event with an important message: Without failure there would be no success.
That’s the concept behind an event called Fail Fest Wabash Valley. Fail Fest kicked off Tuesday morning inside the Indiana Theatre in downtown Terre Haute.
The event brought in local, regional, and national business leaders to share lessons they’ve learned, from mistakes they’ve made.
The day-long conference is designed to change the way we perceive failure and the creator of Fail Fest says it’s an event that supports your future.
“Much of it is about growing our own companies, growing our own employees,” explained Gerry Dick, creator and host. “We’ll support those young, middle aged, older entrepreneurs who have ideas and want to grow them into a business.”
Launch Terre Haute helped set up the event.
The First Fail Fest event started three-years ago in Indianapolis with 300 people. Organizers say the event has only continued to grow.
