ISU Fall Address is a look forward for campus

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Success is what Indiana State University wants to focus on in the year ahead.

University President Dr. Dan Bradley gave his 2016 Fall Address Wednesday afternoon.

His speech was based on the new strategic plan called ‘There’s More to Blue.’

Dr. Bradley outlines six goals to accomplish over the next few years.

They focus on enrollment, graduation, and retention plans…along with state funding.

He emphasized that success has to be built over time, and isn’t instantaneous.

“The next five or six years…we really want to increase our enrollment. We need to increase our enrollment. We need to increase the number of degrees that we award. The percent of our students who graduated, we think that’s going to require us to get more into the distance education realm,” Dr. Bradley said.

Wednesday was also about celebration.

Dr. Bradley talked about recent accomplishments like major construction projects on campus.
