TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Indiana State University helped students dip their toes into the professional world.
The University held a career fair on Wednesday and organizers say there were 155 businesses there including 12 grad schools.
Those businesses ranged from the local to national.
Organizers say students and alumni can’t beat the time they invest in the fair.
“Even if you come to get the experience of networking, meeting employers. Learning all of those important networking skills, how to give your elevator pitch, how to introduce yourself, whatever,” explained Danielle Burgess, ISU Career Services Event Coordinator. “Its great experience but obviously also jobs, internships, so they need to come. It’s vital.”
She also said that if you missed the event on Wednesday, there will be another Career Fair on Feb. 22.
