The Indiana State men’s basketball program has landed a new recruit. Wednesday Devin Thomas committed to the Sycamores. Originally from Richmond, Indiana Thomas is playing this season at Mineral Area Community College in Missouri. Last year he averaged 15.4 points and 7.8 rebounds at Lincoln Trail Community College, but left at the end of the season because of a coaching change.
The six-foot-eight ISU recruit had several other schools interested in him including UT Martin, East Tennessee State, Jacksonville State, Wright State, Missouri State and Louisiana Tech.
“It fits me and how I play personally,” said Devin Thomas. “I have been talking to the coaching staff for a while now and I feel like I already have a great relationship with them. I will bring hard work, dedication and provide what I can for us to be a great team.”
