INDOT employee suspended without pay after sending inappropriate email to NYT reporter

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An INDOT employee is suspended without pay after one of he used inappropriate language in an email to a New York Times reporter.

The reporter posted a screenshot of the email to Facebook.

INDOT responded, calling the email “an inappropriate use of INDOT resources.” They also say “the language used is unacceptable and does not reflect the values of INDOT.”
