Breast Cancer Awareness “makes a mark” on downtown Terre Haute streets

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – October is “Breast Cancer Awareness” month.

Sunday, local women put their pink paint and brushes to work.

You’ll now find a pink ribbon at the intersection of 25th and Poplar Streets to bring awareness to Terre Haute.

This new artwork also marks the starting location of Race for a Cure”.

The race is next Saturday starting at 7:00 in the morning.

The race includes a 5K, one mile rune, and a new one lap dash for kids.
