ISU Police responds to several clown sightings over the weekend


TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Police at Indiana State University responded to several reports of clown sightings over the weekend.

According to officials from ISU, there were reports of people wearing clown masks on campus.

Officials said in an email that there were even false reports of people being injured by someone in a clown mask.

Police said they found two different incidences where students were wearing clown masks while either walking or driving on campus.

After investigating, police said the students with the clown masks were not a threat to anyone on campus.
