TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Area students will benefit from a night of bowling.
Tuesday was the “I Can’t Believe It’s Not a Gutter” Benefit Bowl at the Terre Haute Bowling Center.
The event supports the Vigo County Education Foundation.
Some of the money will send 1,200 Vigo County first graders on a field trip to the Terre Haute Children’s Museum.
Career and technical education programs will also get funding. “Exciting, enriching programs with robotics, reverse engineering and 3D automations. So, we’re here to support our students and our teachers,” said Jane Nichols, Executive Director of the Vigo County Education Foundation.
Local businesses and school corporation employees made up the bowling teams.
This was the sixth year for the event.
