TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Election officials tested voting equipment on Wednesday.

The process is part of a state law.

Vigo County Clerk, Dave Crockett told News 10 this kind of testing is important.

He said the process eliminates technical issues.

“It doesn’t mean that somebody couldn’t press the wrong thing or whatever, but we know that going into this, everything is fine,” Crockett said.

Don’t forget that the general election is Tuesday, November 8th.

Early voting in Indiana starts Wednesday, October 12th.

If you live in Illinois, early voting is already underway.
