ORLANDO, Fla. (WTHI) – With Hurricane Matthew approaching, officials at Walt Disney World in Orlando have decided to close down all of their parks and properties until the storm passes.
Their reason? It all comes down to safety.
According to Disney’s website, they’re closing down at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday and will remain closed through Friday.
This is only the fourth time in Disney’s history that a hurricane has triggered a closing.
