Crime Stoppers: Officials looking for two suspects connected to theft and fraud investigation


VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a theft and fraud case involving two suspects.

A report was filed on Sept. 23 after property was taken from a vehicle parked at 900 E. McCampbell Drive.

The victim stated the credit card that was stolen from the vehicle was used at five local business before it was canceled.

Officials report the first suspect is a white male, medium build with reddish hair. He was wearing a gray t-shirt at the time. The second suspect is a white female, medium build with dark hair. She was wearing a white t-shirt and a blue jacket at the time.

Both were seen leaving the scene in a white Ford Escape SUV that appears to have a missing passenger side rear wheel cover and may have plastic covering the rear hatch window.
